oil type

Been told that I can use muilti or straight engine oil in my 5748 anybody have any thoughts. if so what grade?

Standard 15w/40 sold in every gas station, is just fine.

By the way, why do so many Englishmen go live in France to use Zetor tractors ??

Thanks for the info on the oil and as for living in france and using a Zetor i can only think, like the french food they only go for the best.
