Hello,

how can you measure the axial play of the differential? So the axial play of the oblique roller bearing of the ring gear. (0-0,05mm / Zetor 5011)

Regards, Joachim

it should be stated in the workshop manual , but i dont know where i have it...

Hello,

no, it is not written how you can measure it.

But we have now done so well it went - pictures to follow tonight ...

greeting

I take it that you are working on the rear differential.
On other diffs I have used a dial gauge but feeler gauges may be an option if you can arrange something to measure against like an adjustable stop held in place with a magnet.
A rough guide may be that it can be turned with slight resistance but not tight while no end play is able to be felt.
Are they new bearings or existing.
