Replacing starter motor for z6045

Hi,

I have bought a replacement starter motor and just wanted to check before I replace it, if there is anything I should be aware of before I replace it?

I disconnect battery
Disconnect wires to starter noting what goes where
Remove the 3x bolts holding it in place.
Remove starter motor
Bold new one into place
Connecting wires
Battery

Is there anything else? I have never done this before.

while you have the starter off you can see what the teeth on the starting ring is like, sometimes they become very worn.
 

That's all you have to do. If you have an identical motor.
 
Not like the Crystal's that had a replacement one fitted and a piece of the chassis was cut out to make it fit.
