Recently had to sledge some big rocks across soft land with my 7045 and the wheels soon cut deep tracks at standard tyre pressures.
16.9 / 30 rear Barum and 11.2 / 24 front, with a FEL.

I would be grateful for experience or any comment on deflating tyres to help on soft ground with light loads. How low can you drop the pressure to, usefully.

No toolkit came with the tractor and I would like to make an inflater hose up. What is the thread used to screw a hose line onto the air outlet.

I take it that the air is available from the bottom of the water trap/filter attached to the compressor output pipe, after unscrewing the cap there. The operators manual is not at all clear about where it is connected.

There is no air tank on this 7045 so no regulator.

Thanks for any suggestions

16.9-30 can carry 1500kg each, on 0.6 bar. However a diagonal tire wears fast on hard surfaces at that little pressure.
I usually keep them at 1.2 bar which is plenty of carrying capacity for all our work, without too much tire flexing.

The front ones i keep at 2.75 bar because its easier on the power steering system with a loader.Just check if your tires will take that, before you blow them

Thanks Renze.
Your comments are very helpful. The front pressures are a bit more than I have run on soft ground. The higher pressure sure would help on the hard.

I will check my front tyre specs.
