Hello,
The brakes on my 7745 seem to sticking on. Today I drove backwards and forwards a few times in the yard and this cleared them. They were not sticking going backwards.
How do the brakes on this tractor operate?
Do I remove the plate at the bottom of the rear axle to get at them?
Any advice and tips please?
Thanks

Hi

There are two types of brake which could be fitted, discs or drum. The disc type have a cylinder at the rear outside of the back axle, under a plastic cover. These can sieze up. The drum type have the pipe entering the top of the axle. Again these can rust up. Also look for sticking handbrake cable.
Removing the plate you mention will not help .

Good Luck

Mike
