Hi I have a zts 16245 30kmh and I want to take out the 12speed synchro and put in a 40kmh 16speed from a 12145 was wondering if all cogs at rear are the same size to fit in?...any help will be much appreciated thanks..
The ZTS website has been down for years, so i have to do this from memory: They had the 90 and 120 type gearboxes. the numbers represented the max Kw they could take. So i dont know if the 90 (122hp) was used in the 12245 or if it was the 120 like the 142 and 162...
But, you'll need to keep the crown-pinion set together anyways...
i can say i have experience with ZTS gearboxs.but there was never big 16245 in ireland.so like when i changed the box on my zts,i didn`t know there was difference between the power of a gearbox only the difference between the tractor that it came off.i didn`t nothing to it only had to bolt on the bell housing so that it can take the hyd clutch.
I actually think the 90 was the 16 speed 30km (without overdrive)
As the 1st speed was removed and an overdrive was added in a 40km transmission, i actualy think that they called the 16 speed direct drive a 90 and both the 12 speed and 16 speed with overdrive, a 120.
