Tractor Purchase

Hi! I'm investigating buying a Zetor 8540 tractor. There are no dealerships in my area and would be grateful for any tips or things to check out to make sure I dson't get caught with a dud machine Thanks Mike

Only thing to check is the clutch. I dont know any weaknesses of these tractors.

Thanks very much Renze for the advice and the quick response. The tractor has done 3200 hours. I'll certainly check out the clutch and if I purchase it will post pictures of it . No doubt I'll have lots more questions as time goes by. kind regards Mike

The fact that i dont know any weaknesses of these tractors, is mostly because we never had them around... Do a search around the forum to know more...
