Tractor rebuild books

I'm looking for a book about renovation / rebuilding old tractors. I have ordered up the 5711 workshop manual but as I'm a bit of an amature I find them a bit technical.( I've got one for my 3545)
So a general tractor mechanics book. Anyone any suggestions?

As far as i know, no such thing exists.

You may start learning about Diesel engines. There are ebooks that help you understand in detail how they operate but obviously working on one is a must!
