I am in the process of building a pull type road grader, with a 450x3000mm blade, and 10-15 tires. It will feature hydraulic tilt, offset and angle. Possibly also hydraulic lift, but that depends on one thing:

If i hang my grader to a towbar in the 3pt lift, it will save me another hydraulic function so i can do with the 3 section valve block i already have. Also, i'd need one less hinge point on the grader frame.

What will happen if i lock the lever of the remote outlet so the oil is continuously fed to the 3 spool valve block on the grader, and i operate the 3pt lift ?

Am i right, that the 3pt hitch is the first valve in the series, so whenever i operate the 3pt hitch, the oil flow to the external remotes is cut off and i have full reaction speed to the 3pt lift ?

I was going to ask a different question, about the reaction speed/flow divider valve under the seat, but while i was typing, i thought of the fact that the valves are mounted in series.

The 3 point linkage will work even if spool valve is constantly pumping. It is first in line.

Actually i did already know the answer, but didnt think of it because i'm so familiar with it... 3pt lift works, but slower when oil is fed to the 4 section valve block of the front loader on our 5245... I think its at half speed or so, but i suppose its enough for fine adjustments on the go....

The flow control valve to the right of the seat is supposed to divert oil from the rear linkage to the spool valves.... I've never managed to get this to work properly on our 7245. The linkage has priority over the spool valves. so provided the main ram seals are OK you shouldn't have a problem.
