Hello everyone

Could anyone explain how to adjust the velvets of a 4712 from 1975. I need to know the clearence of inlet and exhaust and if the clearence should be adjusted with a warm or a cold engine. How can I find the right point for adjusting the clearence of the velvets.

PS the torque of the head bolts?

Thank you verry much for any help

Headbolt torqe:150n/m:111lbs/ ft.
Valvcleranse:inlet0.2mm,out0.3mm
If you take out the injectors and their pipes and gives full trottle you can turn her over by hand and se hven the dieselpump sqirts and you can adjust the valvs for the coresponding sylinder.

Thanks Bjarne,

that are very helpfull messages to get my engine working. Sorry for my bad english I wrote velvet instead of valve, but I discovered my mistake soon, shame on me.

best regards Martin
