Hi,

I have a Zetor 3011 in restauration but i have no Owners Manual .
I would like to know what fluide is in the brake system of a Zetor 3011. Is it Brake fluide or Oel?
Also what Oel is original in Gear Box and Hydraulik?
What Oel is in the Gear by the rear Wheels?
Helpful answers are highly appreciated.

Regards
Tony

From your spelling Oel you'd be a German... western european climate, same as here :)

15w/40 can be used year round in the engine.
gearboc 80w/90 gear oil, or 10w/30 or 15w/40 or 15w/30 universal oil.

Brakes: DOT 4 brake fluid, for sale at every Tankstelle ;)

Rear axle reduction: 80w/90 gear oil

If you buy a 60 liter barrel of universal oil, you can use it for the engine as well as the transmission and final drives... might be cheaper than buying a dozen of 5 liter cans :)

Officiallly the factory prescribes gear oil for the final reductions too, but the new Proxima range uses the same gears, though they now prescribe a universal oil, because a universal oil can withstand more heat (they now put 120hp through the 4011 final reduction gears)

Hi Renze,
yes i'm German, even better Bavarian;) from the greater Munich area.
I was i a hurry this morning therefore i didn't pay attention about spelling "Oel".

Anyway... actually any fluid you mentioned, i found at my Tractor was ok, but i wasn't shure it was correct because the rest of the Tractor was in very bad shape. So i had to make shure i put the right stuff in.

Thanks a lot

Nevermind, but near the arctic circle you'd need a thinner oil in winter... In Germany no need for that. :)
