CAN ANY ONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ON PUTTING WHEEL SPACERS ON MY 2014 HSX 140 ? AS I LIVE IN VERY HILLY COUNTRY AND WITH A LARGE LOADER THIS TRACTOR IS VERY TOP HEAVY
. I WOULD LIKE TO PUT SIX INCHES ON THE BACK AND FOUR INCHES ON THE FRONT. IF SOME COULD GIVE SOME IDEA WHERE TO BUY THEM
.
THANKS

Wheel spacers ?? if you have solid rims you can swap them around, If you have loose flange plates you can change the setting of those.

Wheel spacers: They used to put spacers on Ford Granadas because it ought to look cool, with wide tires... It snapped the halfshafts and the rear wheel would overtake you on the on-ramp... pretty hilarious.

You better pack it with a good 3pt weight of 2000kg, than set the front axle too wide. a wide stance will eat wheel kingin bearings because of the extra bending stress it causes. The 3pt weight also takes weight off the front axle, so often you can work without 4wd which saves a lot of driveline and tire wear and tear.

when i used a 2wd crystal with front loader on silage clamps i had an old 100 gallon sprayer tank full of large stones and concrete on the back... steering was nice and light and never got stuck on the clamp....

The Unverferth people at www.umequip.com have a line of wheel products including spacers and snap on duals. A neighbor of mine here in hilly WV has a set of their snap on rear duals that he uses when pulling his fold down bat wing type bush hog. He likes the snap ons because he can take them off when he wants to use the tractor in a narrow mode. (They make the tractor about ten feet wide.) He said he doesn't like the spacer idea because you have to leave them there all the time. He has no fluid in the snap ons so they are easy to attach/remove - 10 minutes.

Three point weight is the way to go although was in a fella yard who bought a zetor 41 series forterra with the loader had a modified exhaust so the loader brackets sat nearer the cab making it a very smart setup it was a quicke loader never asked him did the loader brackets come from the factory or where they modified by the importer super job though.
