..We used to have one with a hand clutch and square mudguards, but the one i bought last year from a trader who got it from England, had the foot operated dual stage clutch and the 30/4011 mudguards.

I am thinking of giving the existing pages of Zetorworld history an update with new information so i'd want to dig into it.

My guesstimate is that this change happened before 1974.. 90% of them have square mudguards and the hand clutch.
Perhaps they just used up the existing stock of 3511/4511 parts ?

http://www.wnkramer.nl/nl/landbouw/tractoren/tractoren-40%5B-%5D59-pk/zetor -4712.html here is a 1973 model with square mudguards but no PTO hand clutch...

http://www.agriaffaires.co.uk/used/farm-tractor/1728489/zetor-4712.html and heres one with square mudguards and hand operated PTO clutch too... So 1973 was the year they ran out of 5 series parts ;)
