Does anyone know where i can find a wiring diagram for a 1978, 6718. any help is greatly appreciated thanks
Hi i dont have a diagram but i do have a 6718, and the loom is in a box somewhere in the workshop, i just start her from the starter, some day i'll make a new loom for her
what do u need to know?
Is it an Alternator or Dynamo?
Dynamo will have 2 terminals, big one goes to D on the Regulator an the wee one goes to F on the regulator.
If its a Alternator, depending on which type it is, normal lucas type have a 3 spade lug type, 2 big spades (battery live) and a wee one next to them is wired to ur warning light which is fed from an ignition supply,
I'll have to dig out my ignition switch to see wot way the wiring goes but if u get urself a wee test light or muti meter, u can flick through the stages and see wot pin feeds the other .
