zetor 3340
My better half bought a zetor 3340 which had been sitting up a while because the owner was battling cancer and had not been able to maintenance it. The man who sold it said that he had just had the clutch replaced shortly before selling it. The clutch will only grind when the petal is pushed. The tractor won't stop when you push the clutch in. I dont think the throwout bearing is working. Can anyone tell me anything that may be helpful? The master and slave cylinder have both been replaced. I have gone thru and checked everything that I can think of. Am I going to have to split the tractor? ( never done that before) Is there anything left that I can check before having to do that? Any help would be appreciated!

I never worked on a Zetor this small, but the bigger 7340 have the same set up. If you have the pedal bled up. Did you try adjusting the clutch rod on the side? If it's only grinding all the time it looking like an operation is needed.

The one at front side of the clutch slave cylinder I know only from newer Super series types like the Zetor 7341 Super Turbo.

Are these tractors got self adjusting clutch pedal? I thought they be something like a crystal.

The clutch play on the pedal can be adjusted, the clutch play on the thrust bearing of the drive clutch is self-adjusting up to the 7340 and adjustable from the 3321 Super.

Ok so, you know more than me on these little tractors. I haven't had any of those baby tractors on the farm since 1998, so I'm not going to try compete with you.
