I have a 1994 zetor 3340 4x4. I'm having trouble with the loader. It raises very slowly. The bucket tilt even works very slowly. It has a brand new pump in it and it has 2175 lbs pressure after the loader control valve. I have replaced the remote fittings and I have even bypassed the loader control valves to work the lift of the loader off of the remote control valves and it still lifts slow. Any ideas

Whats the position of the twist lever, mounted in the vertical section of the floor ? Its a flow control lever and sometimes you hook under it with your boot when getting out of the cab.

How is the loader valve plugged in ? Through the tractors built in remote valve ? How do you keep it engaged ? I used to tie a truck tarp rubber around it to keep it fully open.

The loader is plugged up to the tractor remotes I tie the remote lever back with a bungee cord.

bungee cord... same thing as i intended to describe :)

It makes no sense to me. Loader valve ok. quick couplers ok. pressure ok.... flow control lever ok...

Have you looked under the cab, if the flow control lever is correctly hooked up ?

And the obvious: Did you get an oil pump with the same capacity as the old one ??

to have the loader plumbed throgh the Remote outlets is a bad solution, you should put on a loader valve and plumb it in the hydraulick system. the loader on my 6340 isnt really a fast flyer either. i intend to put the pump of a proxima on it because then i have 50 l pr minute flow instead of 35-40.

Does a 3340 also have the engine auxilary driven oil pump like the 4 cylinder block of 1992, or in the rear end like the old ones ? its quite a fuss to plump it in at the rear end...

This loader used to work great till the pump went out and we put a new one in it. The 3340 has the pump in the rearend. is there a safety valve or something by the pump that might cause this problem

Was the replacement a genuine Zetor part? Have a friend that replaced the pump on a 5245 with a "no name pump" an got the same symptom, due to very low pressure, however after changed the second time to a genuine Zetor spare pump everything worked well. Yes there is a safety valve sitting on the same lid as the pump.
If possible try to measure the out-coming pressure from the pump. There is a outlet at the lid.

I changed the 5245 20l pump to the Polish made Hylmet pump and it did well !! 32l/min and pressure also at low engine speed (little internal leakage) Dont know what "no name pump" your friend used, but i wasnt disappointed... (but the price difference wasnt big either)

By any chance was the pump been driven in the 1000 pto and it,s now driven in 540 although fitted a zetor pump a good while back same trouble turned out the casting of the pump had a crack zetor stood over it and next one no trouble.

In my friends case it was an Asian copy sold very very cheap by many spare dealers in Sweden. In this case motocheck Finland helped him solving his problem. By messuring the pressure the pump delivering you will get a health check.

I allways ask for the one but cheapest power tool, when buying e.g. a new angle grinder. And also the reason i will never buy the most expensive. At the top end, you dont get much extra quality for the extra money you pay. But at the lower end, to squeeze the last few Euros out of an already cheap design one has to seriously cut down on quality.

Somewhere in the middle you get the pest price/performance, or price/quality ratio.
Or you do like Toyota: You offer your high quality products cheaper than your direct competitors, but ask a scandalous amount of money for spare parts...
