question Zetor 3340 - What kind Hydraulic/Transmission oil and filtre do I need ?

Hi Joachim,
I received the order and there are several errors in it,
but before I call Rene J Fournier's Farm Equipment
I have the part numbers for the other two filters
and can you verify that they are correct part numbers for my Zetor 3340 ?

Fuel Filter Element 4-3/8” Long: 93 1273

(Power Steering) Filter for Metal Steering Tank 5.5” Diameter: 93 1154

With my order through a dealer in northern VT,
one of us may have missed spoke with one of the part numbers
as they do part-orders by land-line phone
(they do not have email, cell-phone and a web order parts page).
So I am not able to see what each part cost with tax and shipping.
Anyways, the error is with the Small Rubber Seal: 931136
and in the place of was ordered 931130 (screw) Long-Bolt for the filter assembly.
This bolt will be mailed back and the Small Rubber Seal: 931136 will be shipped to me soon.

Iam in holidays, so I can take a look after that.

I am having trouble identifying what kind of Zetor 3340 Power-Steering Fluid (oil) that I need to change it with.
The chart indicates to use: OH-HM-42 Fluid, but when I do a search it, I get a list of all kinds of fluids.
What should I be looking for ?

Best will be a HLP 32 oil or if not possible to buy it, then a HLP 46 oil.
But never ever a SAE 80W90 or similar ;)

Exactly
HLP 32 = HVLP 32 = ISO 32
But it works also very well in middle european climates - I use it since years and we have summers with up to 40°C in Middle Germany. No problem. We also have days at winter with down to -20°C and there will be HLP 32 the best choice to.

Temps where I am in New England VT USA, can have a few days as high as 36°C (98°F) summer and as low as -40°C (-40°F) winter.
But, because the world is in its 100 year cycle of warming temps and so the winters are running warmer now.
Back in the 1960's it was normal then and will again in the 2060's, will be back to its normal colder winter temps again.

Then HVLP 32 will be the best choice. :)

Next I would like to change the Portal Rear wheels oil.
The info fluid chart says, PP 80 for oil, which I am not sure what this is.
The fluid chart also says each side takes about 2 Liters, so for both sides would be a little over 1 gal.

Paramol PP 80 oil = SAE 80W-90 API GL4 UTTO oil ;)
And yes, 1,5-2 litres for each side (up to the oil level control screw)

Sorry for being late. Haven't been online much recently. Might be incorrect, but I have used universal tractor transmission fluid in my tractors for years with no apparent ill effect. (On the trans, of course). Your local Napa dealer can get filters for you. My local Napa usually has them on the shelf. I do order frequently from ridgeway. Also one in Canada called Tractor parts direct.

I did go to my local NAPA and they were not able to find any filters for Zetor . Maybe not all Napa's are the same.
I may be the only Zetor owner that is local. Thank you for your very good reply it is a help .

You are not alone... ;)

Yes, I have looked at this several times and like seeing where there are other people using Zetor tractors.
I have all the oil and filter that I need now.
And so, I am hoping to do a post about each oil, filter change, when I have the time to do it with.
I am enjoying the learning and the servesting, as well as the fixing things on my Zetor 3340.

I have move it to our FAQ section and edited a litle bit for better reading and for additions...

And I wonder, why the prices for Zetor parts are so much high at your country.

And I wonder, why the prices for Zetor parts are so much high at your country.
I believe the short answer is:
The USA is being torn apart by bad people who hate Jesus Christ and His precepts.
The good USA people have lost control of the country.
Inflation is being caused by these bad people on purpose.
So what is reported to being the cause of a trouble is not the true truth.
These bad people work for the one who is a thief, a liar and a murderer.
So watch the world events as they are changing to match what Jesus said will be happening and is happening.
I need to stop here as this is a forum for Zetor tractors.
