good evening everyone, i have a 3545 and a 5545, just wondering how i go about changing from 540rpm to 1000rpm pto speed?

all as you should need to do is pull the small lever between your legs, the left hand one, back i think, should tell you on the dash where too have it

looking mt my 3545 today , mine doesnt seem to have 1000 shaft, you can use "shittle" pto though. put high and low in neutral, select a gear of your choice and move pto selector lever to the correct position for this, one word of warning using this though, it stops the hydraulic pump working and aparently lubrication system to the gearbox etc.

Yes, the 540/1000rpm was optional from the 5511 onwards, because of the longer transmission with room for an extra PTO gear set. the 4712 never had it, the 5711 and 6711 both had this rear end with optional 1000rpm PTO.
