Hi everyone I'm rebuilding the engine on my 4911 3 cylinder and I cant find out which thickness head gasket I should use 1.2 or 1.5 any ideas engine no is 490106048 serial no 7168 year 1978
I only worked on a 7340 so the manual says use 1.5 mm head gasket, but someone on this forum previously said only ever use 1.2 mm as it helps with compression
The workshop manual says you have to measure the overlap of each piston over the crankshaft if its correct measurement fit a 1.5mm but if its less fit 1.2mm
