I have a Zetor 5211 with what I determined as a clutch issue.

Issue: When the tractor is pulling a load or in a higher gear the clutch seems to be slipping. Tractor sometimes almost stops without pushing in clutch. I do not smell the clutch burning but it must be slipping. Also the clutch pedal only has to be pushed down about an inch or so before it is engaged. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Hi

As you only push the pedal a little way before it disengages that almost certainly confirms the clutch is worn out and the tractor needs splitting to replace it.

That is what I did not want to hear. I will check the break/clutch fluid level tonight to see if this is part of the problem. You would think that i would be able to smell something when it was slipping.
