Clutch does not engage until pedal is near the top. Reckon I will get a little more use out of it?? I understand these are not adjustable??

its perfectly normal for these tractors to engange near the top. because they are hydraulic operated and not a mechanical.

The cerametallic linings also bite a little. But are very hard to wear. It depends on country if it had organic or cerametallic clutch plates.

Thanks, Forterra and Renze. I use to one catching about half way out instead of close to the top but glad to know this is normal. I'm hoping to get some use out of this old tractor without any major expenses.

I think you can also adjust the clutch cylinder pushrod to get some more free stroke before it disengages.

Thanks- will check that if I can locate the rod. I assume it is near the brake pedal??
