zetor 5945 no drive?

hi, ive been offered a zetor 5945 but im told a shaft is broken in the transmission, someone has stripped the tractor and removed some shafts but not the broken one, i dont have any details of the exact shaft but is this a common problem? the tractor has no drive to the wheels although the engine runs fine or did do until stripped to access the transmission. does anyone know the possible cost of mechanical transmission parts? are they expensive, cheap?? would a repair to this tractor be viable or not? what is it worth on todays market if i decided to sell it after the repair? although i probably would keep it.
