Hi, I would appreciate any information to do with changing/cleaning the engine oil filters on a Zetor 6045. I would also like assistance with fixing the speedometer on this tractor.
I have a operator's manual for this tractor and it directs me to clean the centrifugal oil filter and oil pump suction strainer. However after having looked at the pictures in the manual and what's under the tractor's hood it's clear my tractor does not have the centrifugal oil filter. I only have a air filter cannister where it should be. I am wanting to change the engine oil on this tractor but want to know what is required for the engine filters as well.
The speedometer on my 6045 also does not work. The needle is stuck half way along the gauge range. I have removed the dash and looked behind the speedometer and seen that it only has four electric cables going into it, so realize it must be electric. So would like some DIY advice on how best to fix it. I have been told the cables from the speedometer run to a plug located under the water pump into the engine casing.
Thanks in advance
