Zetor 6045 fuel problem

Hi, I have a Zetor 6045, I can not get it started I think it is a fuel problem because I have fuel up to the injectors but not traveling upthe injector lines to the top on the engine. I took the lines off and the part where the lines attach to the engine is not allowing the fuel to go through, there is a spring in there that is suppose to lift up to allow the fuel to travel through. with teh part off the fuel travels no problem but when I put it back on the spring pushes the little valve back down stopping the fuel.

Any suggestions

Have you looked at the rubber hoses that bring the diesel from the tank to the fuel filters and on to the injection pump? These are notorious for causing problems. Solution is to replace them with high quality hoses from a reputable supplier such as Gates or Goodyear.

If you refer to the delivery valves, on top of the fuel pump where it connects to the fuel lines, i think you either have a deadly worn out fuel pump, or you must be fooled by some air somewhere in the fuel system. I suppose it's the last.

I replaced all copper washers in the fuel system, that helped a big deal. It was sucking in so much air that the fuel started to foam and the engine ran very poor.
