Hi there,

Simon from Llowalong, Victoria, Australia here.

My trusty Zetor has developed an issue with the FEL hydraulics. It still lifts with the same power but incredibly slowly.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you possibly adjusted the reaction speed lever?
The short one at the front of the hydraulic console, which you can swing left and right.
If it moves very easily, the rod under the cabin may have fallen off, then take a look there too.

See also handbook hydraulic instructions section - its explained there.

Thanks for such a quick reply, Joachim. I have been away on holidays and have now had a chance to see if the level was the issue. Unfortunately not....the lever works fine and the rod is still connected. I am wondering if there is a pump failure but not 100% sure where it is located.

Regards,

Simon

The hydraulic pump on your Zetor model is located at the rear under or below the differential. From the outside you will find a circular cover at the bottom, onto which the pump is screwed inside.

Thats what I meant. :)
