i have this tractor and i'am looking for parts, books every thing a can find.
But they have told me that it's possible that i have a 6901 in stead of a 7047.
I know he's from the years 1977 or 78. 4WD withe cab.
They told me to look just above the startengine. there is a nummber in the engine 6901.
if someone have some info about this tractor i would love to hear it.
78 and 79 were the production years of the 6911
The 6911 had a 6901 engine. As you say 4wd, it must be a 6945
7047, never heard of them. In which country is it sold ? France had some different type designations, and Belgium had a 7018 with 75 hp Perkins engine, which was a conversion of the Belgian importer, (not from the factory) for those who found the 8045 too big and needed more hp than the 6945 could offer at that time.
If this is your tractor http://www.farmphoto.com/fpv2/thread.aspx?mid=647220
then it must be a 6945
It does have the newer style of cab, but it still has the old style of bonnet, dashboard and headlights.
If the gear lever is mounted in the dashboard, it is definately a 9 series, as the 10 series was the first to get the mid mounted gearlevers and a dashboard mounted in the cab, instead of to the fuel tank, on rubbers.
