Hi

I have a quick question about the clutch arrangement on my new (to me!) 6945.

Is the foot clutch pedal supposed to be single action, or is it supposed to cut drive to the PTO as well?

I can cut the drive to the PTO using the lever to the left of the handbrake, but the foot pedal appears just to disengage the drive to the road wheels.

I suspect that it is supposed to be like this, but as I was expecting the foot pedal to be 'double action' I thought I'd better check.

Regards to all from the (not quite yet) frozen North

Yes, since the 7 series (1972) all tractors have two clutch levers, teh foor pedal for drive and the lever for PTO.
Unless you have a badly adjusted foot pedal, it will only disengage the drive.
