Greetings all.
I own a Zetor 6945 with a ruined crankshaft. I also own two Ursus C-355 that are not in working condition but the engines seem to be loose. My question is could the crankshafts from the ursus C-355 fit the zetor 6945 or am I way off with this?

I am not 100% certain on this, but i think they can be swapped. Both crankshafts have their origin in the Zetor 4011. However the metallurgy might have been improved over the years.

Both engines have 110mm stroke, and the bearings and connecting rods are exchangeable. It is very likely that they fit, but maybe you need to use the Ursus crankshaft pulley or timing gear too. Its worth a try.

What if I took the motor off my 5711 and put it on my 6945? Can I boost the engine up with the fuel pump and injectors from the 6945 or is it more to it than that?

5711 has 95x110mm bore and stroke. 6711 has 100x110 with 0.4 liter more displacement. From the 9 series onwards they had a different block which has an extra coulant passage, connected to a hole in the head where on previous generation's a frost plug was. Also the inlet valve has a bigger diameter, and the camshaft has a different profile for better torque

I'll have to fix up the engine then.
One other thought. I was thinking about mounting a loader on this tractor if I fix it but I've been told that the front drive axles on this model can't handle that, do you have an opinion on that ?

No problem at all. The front axle is very heavy. The axles of the 5745 were a bit weak (no planetary reduction)
