Hi.. We have a 7245 Zetor to Launch Boats at a Boat club. but we have a problem with it. The last person to drive it, foot slip of the clutch paddle and the tractor jerked foward and stalled. he started it back up. the it will only move backwards.... Any forward gear stalls the Engine.... Any body seen this before .

Yes, typical.
It's double shifting. It is stuck in reverse and when you select a forward gear, the transmission blocks up because yu cant move one shaft at two different speeds at the same time.
There is another thread a couple of titles down called "stuck in reverse" with a full description of the easy solutions.

i would suggest the selector is'nt in the correct grove. You will have to take the gearbox cover off again and make sure the three gear 'bar selectors' are all lined up in the neutral position. you only need your finger to do thid . then place the gear lever back.

Stapes, take the base of the gearlever off and simply put the squared knob on the lower end of the gearstick and put it back exactly in the middle. I think you have put it back without aligning the gear lever end in the middle slot.
