question Zetor 7245 PTO Hydraulic selector not working

Hi All

Just purchased a 7245 i have owned a couple of Zetors over the years and this has me stumped.

The PTO / hydraulic selector appears to have four positions as it should but the forward position (hydraulic only) is will not disengage the pto. All other positions work as they should.

Can anyone shed some light please

 
Are you sure it's not in the second position and not going all the way down to the floor.
 
The PTO will turn, even with lever in the fully forward position, due to oil viscosity etc. Try stopping it with a stick - it will stop easily if this is the case. If it is actually engaged then you'll have to investigate further.
