Greetings one and all, I am dealiing with a zetor 7245 the tachometer stopped working and I find nothing wrong, even tried connecting a nother tachometer from a nother zetor and nothing, Im pretty sure its the sensor on the engine but I wanted to be sure also are these sensors known to fail in zetor}

the sending unit located at the end of the camshaft below the alternator. it has Three wires. they ca get dirty and loose an a bit corroded. take them off clean them and put back. if not better change the sending unit, it fails some times but not often.
