Hello and help please.
My Zetor 7341 is struggling. I think I have a stuck brake. The tractor is having to work harder and is reluctant to freewheel downhill. The rear left side(Looking forward) gets hot.
I have tried to free it off by releasing the nut on top of actuator rod and "tapping it" but I haven't fixed it.Any suggestions welcome.
Thank you for reading.:(

Hi,

It could be the handbrake linkage seized. There's a small rocker lever at the front of the axle that seizes.
If not, depending on how old the tractor is, the cylinders are prone to rusting on the old type where the piston is built into a cast lump on top of the axle.

thanks Mike,
It was the linkage Wheel off job, removed the crank lever and lots of copper grease applied.Fixed!
Thanks for your help .
