how did you mounted the steering cylinder on the front axle .

i removed the front axle to fit the ram, welded two heavy duty eyes on to axle, to fit the orbital unit i just removed the compressor, made up a plate for it to fit in to, then cut the the steering wheel shaft to fit. the orbital unit is of a combine. I will be converting a steering on a 8045 in the near future. going to try not to remove the axle this time, i will put up pictures when im doing it.
