hi there im new on here and find this a great resourse for my recent purchase. just wanted to know which models have the same/similar cabs to fit a 4718
That cab was only ever fitted on the 4718 and 3611 and was never originally on the 3511, if you see on with that cab on it has been fitted since it was new.
in general in the early seventies on imports to the uk 11 and 45 series had either no cab or a uk fitment of a duncan cab, the 18 and 48 series had the zetor cab fitted.... just to confuse matters ive got a 4912 with a duncan cab... apparently 4911 was allready a protected trademark on something else(a pair of jeans?)
the hinge positions on the duncan cab doors appear to be random.. my 6711 and 4912 doors wont swop over cos the hinge spacing is different.
(1) I have a 3611 from new with the narrow factory fitted cab, but it is badged 3511 - that is how it left the factory. I think it is an early cabbed one and they had not got around to putting on 3611 badges. It was the first cabbed Zetor in our area.
(2) The patent issue relates to the non availability of 4711, as it is an eau de cologne trade mark !. So they used 4712 instead.
