does anyone know how ur2 range got the name crystal?

I have never seen any references as to how the Crystal name came into being.

Probably because it was a brilliant piece of engineering for 1968

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Chechoslowakia
was and still is very famous for ists crystal (glass) art objects.

Why did they not make a zetor "Diamond". That would have been exellent! 8 Cylinders, 350hp, 16 Speed power shift, It would be very nice
