I bought a 4712 a bit ago and have been tidying it up.
today I had a small forklift on the lift arms the pressure from tip pipe was good ,but the arms would not lift ,were ok with no load on.
took off the top and the hydrauloc lift cylinder and piston are badly scored, theres a steel ring but two rubber rings are nearly completly gone on the piston.
anyone got info on what other parts may suit ,I have tracked down a doner ursus and 3511 but do not know if ,cylinders and piston are compatiable.

Try www.troughtons.co.uk. Zetor dealer in Northern Ireland who does a lot of restoration work, so may well have the parts you need.

have put lift ram cylinder and piston from 3011 into my 4712 replaced the 0 rings first, the lift has improved greatly ,it is now holding position when the tractor is off.
the little forklift must 300-350 kg
but there is still not enough power to lift heavy items with the liftarms .if I tinker with the pressure relief valve can I get more lifting power with the lift arms.the oil press is good ,I can lift heavy items no bother just cannot move around as forklift is dragging the ground, maybe I should consider putting wheels under it.
maybe the o rings are not good enough?.
There is a piston which is 2.5mm bigger if I can get the original cylinder bored out will i get much more lift ,I saw the part on a hmt site one is A and the other B its just 2.5mm bigger.

if i remembr rightly they are all the same lids and can be fitted with larger ram off 7011..etc also might be worth fitting assister rams to help the main lift ram ...easy to do if its on the old type lift arms with a fork and pin at the top of the adjuster arms ..

thanks gav,
I had been thinking of putting on two little rams I have off a loader grab but couldent find a port to hook them to ,probably would have to make a bracket on hitch to fit them to.
when I pull the lift arm lever and the the inner lever doesent seem to work ,am working the forklift ram off one of the double acting connections and was thinking of trying the assistor rams off the other, maybe I should just forget the liftarm lever and just use the double acting lever to operate lift and forklift ram.
I also have two heavy steel plates that can just about drop over the drawbar and slide in under the rear of the tractor also have a ram that just about the right size to come up under the forklift at the top link connection, may have some time next week to try it out.
it would be very handy if there was a way to work lift and assistors together.
