Anyone else seen those pictures of Zetor prototypes from the early 90's on the Zetor facebook page? They seem to be from a UR-V serie which has never been put into production.
There is one for sale here (a 5040):

And there are more pictures at the following link:

Does someone has more information about these tractors? It looks like they have the UR3 cab and engine with the UR1 rear end, like the current proxima series.
They were built at Zetor. They had 4 main gears, transport and field gear, and two additional overdrive gears on a separate layshaft, like the Fendt 300 series, or some Landini models.
these were never sold on the open market where they Renze ? is it normal that zetor sells the prototype of tractors that didnt make it into production ?
The late 70's UR4 prototypes (9045 and 14045) were sold to factory employees i think... I am told that at least a 9045 was used by an employee to move materials to a jobsite where he built his new house..
I wouldnt buy it, (not just because its plain ugly) but also because they are orphans: no parts backup from the factory. Or perhaps Zetor would make them on order, just to see how these prototypes hold up in the long run, without actively being monitored by the factory.
