Machinery:
Zetors HSX 140, 2x 8111, 8045. CNH 895, MF50B. Heap of machinery.
I'm sure this only applies to engine oil filter on UR2 tractors, but all these tractors centrifugal oil filter. They all have 2 marks on the base of the inner filter, that have to be lined up when your assembling it to keep it balance. My question is, what happens if you don't have the lines matching?

I was servicing a 8111 today that I bought lately and the lines were on opposite sides of the filter, no where near matching, but does it really make any difference?

on UR2 tractors
What do you mean with UR2? ;)
Zetor /ZTS 8111 = UR2
I edit the thread title for you... (y)

As for your question - I wouldn't worry about it for too long. If there are original markings, I would always put it back together as intended, regardless of what a previous owner did to it.

sometimes written with Roman numbers. UR2

Yes that's exactly what I meant. All my questions all relate to a UR2 as there the only zetors tractor I have. Unlike so many people on here I don't have any of the smaller UR1 tractors and don't want to saying 8111 all the time as they are not always an 8111 questions. You don't have to be so pedantic about the numbers or otherwise I'll just say Crystal, everyone will know what I mean, but I don't meant a Crystal 170HD. Every 8011- 14145 in Ireland were all ways known as a Crystal. Even if there is a modern version now.

I don't mean to get on your nerves in any way, I thought we had already sorted this out weeks ago via PM. :)
My point is simply that there are already enough myths about Zetor that there is no need for new ones. Others read it and end up believing that there really was a UR2.
The problem with
Code:
UR2, UR2 or UR2
has already been solved - try it out. You can now continue to write
Code:
UR2
, it will automatically become UR2, so you don't even have to get used to it. ;) :)

I'm the one that's going to be pedantic now, but the leaflet you show, is not Irish. The Crystal with a Duncan cab were never on sale in Ireland new. We had only the normal standard. The ones with a Duncan cab here are all second hand imports from the UK.
