For all those wondering how much flow the Zetormatic valve is capable of handling, I am currently putting 75 lpm through my 7245. I have fitted my own crank driven pump using a gear pump and a driveshaft complete with unis off a Ford 550 backhoe, feeding through the loader valve, then to the rear end. Made a plate up to go where the old hyd pump was, so I could add a 2 inch suction outlet, and the delivery to the rear end hydraulics. Took quite an amount of engineering, but I'm stoked with the results!
I was running a 62 lpm pump for a while with no problems at all, recently fitted the 75 lpm pump, have had it fitted for a few weeks, was worried about heat, but is running nice and cool (it is winter here in Australia though). Will see how it goes in Summer. The pumps are Rexroth gear pumps made for the pilot hyd system on a 650 tonne Liebherr excavator, these things have 4 of these pumps, just to run the pilot system (300 lpm just to move the spools in the control valves)!
The loader performance is awesome :) and I can now lift my 1600kg roto-tiller like it's not even there. I could never go back to the 32 lpm pump!! Also added an extra set of remotes, as I am running a 4 spool loader valve, 3 spools for the loader, one for the remotes. Will try and add some pics soon.
