ZTS factory speed

wondering what is the top stock sped of the zts or crystal tractors, such as 16245,14245,10245 and8275

Standard 2 series will run 35 km/h, optional 40 km/h versions will do 40 to 43 km/h. Customised ones will do 53 km/h.

The max speed is marked on id plate with serial numbers etc.

How is the turning radius on the zts. Is the 16145 and the 16245 tractors basically the same? On the speed, are they space in a good range, or all slow speeds and no power in the top range, and also how is the 3pt lift capacity.

It has about 14 different speeds, the low 4th and high 1st double each other. Over here they are used at contractors pulling 24 ton silage wagons, and for ploughing with 20" 4 furrow reversibles.
Lifting capacity varies from 5200 kg to 6500 kg, depending on the number of optional assister rams. Standard two 50 mm rams, optional two 55 or 60 mm assister rams.

Also on 16 speed trannies with 40 k the gear shift goes 1-2-4-3 instead of 1-2-3-4.I don't know why but it does.Must be a Czech thing;)

I think 40 k trannies have the changed 3rd gear....
I mean in 30k trannies the 4th gear is prise directe... In 40k the 4th is overdrive...

What i thought on the 50k Crystals, was not about them but the trick was already done in the 40k Crystals.
The 50k Crystals have a set of gears changed between tranny and rear end.

Is the zetor 16045 bascially the same tractor as the 16145,16245.
I have literature onthe 16045 and the speeds seem to be that you have almost all the speed choices below 5mph. With a setup like this, seems like the tractor would be very useful in pulling todays implements, that are usuaaly pulled between 7 and 8 mph.

Also turning radius was 538 inches, an awful big turn. ON the web site for zts, they didnt show an 40kph trannsmissoin option.

what is the differences between the 16045,16145,16245 tractors.
also any 16345 around.

The 160 and 161 were the same, just some minor improvements on the fuel system. Also the 161 had the option of full hydraulic steering. Both the 12/6 tranny, which was the same as the 8045 and 12045, but without the first gear to save the tranny from too high torque loadings.

The 16245 had a newer cab, standard hydro steering, and reinforced tranny, 16/8 with stronger backend and more lifitng capacity.

The 16345 is a different design, with the long stroke 7.3 liter engine, a.k.a UR4 range.
The 16445 hasn't been produced long, but it was a hybrid UR2/UR4 with the engine and rear axle of the UR4. Soon after this, ZTS stopped tractor production.
