12245 40kh gear.

Hi all,

Can any one give me the part number for the 40kh gear??

Need to do a noisy bearing in the box and thought i might gear the old girl up to make her a bit more user friendly on the main roads and future proof her.


Also has anyone been in a Torque Amplifier?

Mine is slipping when engaging into high under load, but once in high drives fine. It has been slipping for a while but normaly depress the clutch and she changes fine. Thought I might aswell repair the pack when I'm doing the G/box.

That sounds like your torque band is slipping.

Just wondering how straight forward the repair job would be. I have asked a couple of chaps about it and they said they have never had a problem with one.

I never changed one before, did torque pumps ok but had to adjust the band. there is three bolts that tightened it in
