Hi Paul,
Im glad:) another person has the same as the way I described it. It seems that this is the way 'all' the 6211 are but some as mentioned above have had modifications.
Hi Popeye
That's good that another tractor works the way I said. I was beginning to loose confidence in myself. I think we are agreed, with Internash's help, that some mods happen and hence this lever works in different ways.
I wonder if its a case of confusion. I dont want to fall:(, out with people, when Im just saying the way mine are. I do enjoy this forum. I wonder if you guys use the neutral position and dont maybe 'realise' that full forward is also an off position. I have a pic of the sticker like I was...
Hi Internash,
Im in Scotland, UK. And can say that every zetor in that range seem to be like that and i have a 6211 and a 7245 which are both like that. Maybe my explanantion is confusing.
Have a look at this pic...
Well if your 6211 is like mine I can tell you what i know, slightly different from Internash though.
If your sitting in the drivers seat there are two levers on the floor. The one on the left normally in the forward position is the pto lever and on the right is the low-neutral-high range...
i would suggest the selector is'nt in the correct grove. You will have to take the gearbox cover off again and make sure the three gear 'bar selectors' are all lined up in the neutral position. you only need your finger to do thid . then place the gear lever back.
Well i have limited experience, but my uncle bought a 11441 about three months ago and i've heard no complaints from him good solid tractor with power when needed. you should look at some of the threads in this forum in particulr "How are the foterras and proximas doing?". thats all i know
Renze, in the UK that combination is certainly not rare since all models post 1991 ish came as standard. My 6211 has the pump in the rear and my 7245 has front mounted. with only 3 years between them
I reckon that is because the oil pump is mounted in the front below the air cleaner. And thus not in the rear as the manual (wrong version) suggests. If this is the case there should be a large filter behind the rear wheel (opposite side than air tank)
Hi i was wondering if the same can apply to a 6211/7245 refarding the location of a cold start. I would be grateful if you could give a description of where it is and even better a picture to help me find it. The manual doesnt mention it.
Well I apologise for not knowing the market out with the UK. But here we havnt had the 8641 in the past. The article did not go into any detail on the power shuttle and transmission, so I cant comment any more on it. The article does not suggest a 'really new' forterra but hints on all aspects...
Well in last weeks Farmers Guardian (Oct 14) there was an article following an interview with Zetor UK's top men. And detailed in it is the introduction of a new forterra model the 8461 from the 1st November retailing around 18800, which will join the 99, 109 and 126 hp models . NO mention of...
I found this web page (link below) it might be useful even if for a price comparison only. They say they ship worldwide

Regarding mounting a beacon. When we got our 8540 we asked our dealer to put a metal plate on the roof, so simply they siliconed a galvanised plate on the roof. may sound drastic but it looks tidy and works really well. on our 7245 i made an [i]L[/] shaped bracket to bolt on the side of the cab...
I had the exact same problem with my 7245 last year. The solution was to get the injectors cleaned up. one of the injectors was not 'spraying' as it should and the diesel was going into the sump. That solved my problem
About the dash. it is hard to see in sunlight so perhaps adjustable. and perhaps a digital read out of forward speed pto speed. which i didnt used to have. Not too silly electrics. Or an option at least.
Hey, Im saying electronics not a (pardon the pun) 'super' computer. Computers and muck/moisture dont go together. But all i would like to see is some mods .Like getting rid of the chunky spool conrtols on the forterra. The ZF tranny sounds good. And i belive the introduction of some...
Well well. "zetors dont need electronics"!!! could you please explain the operation of the hydralic lift in the forterras? And ill tell you why its there>:-), because its cheaper to put in a bosch system the manual conrtols!:) All iwant is a power shuttle clutchless, blah blah. and a decent dash
