how badly are the mudguards rusted? on my 3045 they were well beyond it before i spent a lot of time welding them up. they arnt perfect but they are solid. are you in england? if so i suggest Barlows of henbury for parts.

i have a similar problem with my 3045 hydraulics. The arms lift fine under no load but if you try and pick up an impliment they just wont pick it up. i noticed some scoring to the hdraulic lift cylinder and piston when i renewed the seals, would this affect it or is it an o-ring somewhere else...

Many thanks Dave, thats put my mind at ease. I wasn't familier with the internals of these pumps either until i took one to bits! Still it needed doing as like i say both pumps were ceased in some way. Anyway, i'll post when shes running for the first time! Thanks again. Chris

still seeking advice on this issue, someone must know if this is going to affect the pump. its kinda holding me up now and i dont want to put the pump back on and bugger the engine i just rebuilt. Cheers Chris
