  1. 5211 won't engage-darn old clutch issue

Follow up. Was able to get out and work on the 5211 this weekend. Problem was discovered in the hydralic pedal loop. Appears that the slave cylindar was not releasing fully. We simply unhooked the linkage for the slave and noted that the gears began to clash while trying to engage, something...
  2. 5211 won't engage-darn old clutch issue

Renz, the hi/lo shifter will move without the clutch pedal engaged. We can move all the shift knobs without haveing to engage the clutch pedal. There is no clashing of gears at any time. Any thoughts?.
  3. 5211 won't engage-darn old clutch issue

Spring time and ready to work, but 5211 won't work. Tractor will not go forward while in any gear. This is opposite the problem I had last year when it would not disengage. Seems that spring time around here in Texas is prime weather to lock things up. Some hints for the experts: Fluid is full...
  4. 3320 clutch

I am presently having a problem with a 5211 with just the oposite problem, won't move while engaged. But, I did have your problem last year, won't disengage. I drove mine around the ranch for half an hour, pressing the brakes and jerking it, finally, really pressed hard on the brakes and jerked...
  5. Save a life!!,maximum angle for a 5211?

What is the maximum angle slope that a 5211 can attack without flipping over. We have just dug a pond with a 3/1 slope, or 33 degree banks. I need to get into it with the post hole digger. Can this be done safely?? and how to attack it. Going forward?, going backwards?. Is sideways safe. Any...
  6. 5211- Another darn Clutch thread (problem).

This might help the next guy who has this problem. There was no way in the world we had the supports or could get the supports cheaply. There was no way I was going to jerk the tractor with a chain tied to a tree, possibly killing someone with a flying chain. So, we went ahead and pressed in the...
  7. 5211- Another darn Clutch thread (problem).

I also would like to find out where to purchase this "Luk" clutch. It appears that finding the right setup parts for breaking a tractor in half is the whole battle. I just can't see us doing that with any margin of safety with the tools, stands and hoists we have. If things go wrong(falling...
  8. 5211- Another darn Clutch thread (problem).

Not bad Grego, I would think that would work. I get the understanding of why that might separate stuck plates. Now, you think my wife, who tends to be an unmovable object at times, would work.
  9. 5211- Another darn Clutch thread (problem).

Let the 5211 setup for about two months. Went out, started right up, but couldn't get the clutch to disengage. Checked the hydralic, linkage, total distance of throw and found all in good shape. Looked into inspection door and could see throw out bearing working well, no problem. Fingers all...
  10. Adding Aftermarket Front end Loader-question

We are thinking of adding an aftermarket front end bucket/loader to our 5211. Some general questions need to be known to see if we really want to move forward on this. Is the 5211 that comes from the factory set up with all the bolt holes to support a front end loader?. How many hydralic hoses...
  11. 5211-won't start-suspect fuel compressor/injector-Any advice appreciated.

Finally, the rain has stopped and we got into the tractor fuel problem. Turned out to be a leak in the return line to the gas tank. Figure it was pulling a vacuum when turned off and allowed air into the fuel injector. Replaced all the fuel lines, bled the injector and she turned right on and...
  12. 5211-won't start-suspect fuel compressor/injector-Any advice appreciated.

After only two or three minutes of running our 5211 it started to struggle and then just died. We immediatly suspected a fuel problem. Fuel going into the compressor had pressure when we lossened the nut. We pulled an injector line and have no fuel coming out of any of the three lines to the...
  13. Diesel fuel lines leaking_5211_Need help on description of lines

Our 5211 is leaking from the fuel lines and would like to know what type of fuel lines and size to purchase. The present lines are rubber with a outer cloth fiber, but getting old, so need to change them out. Thanks for any help.
  14. 5211-All levers/controls completley understood-Property Closed

I have two other threads under my name so this would be the third. We closed on the Texas Ranch on Friday and had a great weekend playing weekend farmer. After purchasing a very poor copy of the instruction manual and reading alot on this forum, we were able to negotiate the tractor controls...
  15. 5211- Standard operating postions of levers for shredding-Newbie

Thanks Cuz, your explaination confirms my reading of the operator manual. The operators manual is a little vague, but your explaination has put it in the right order. Your explaination assumes your in one of the speed gears and the tractor is moving, so the PTO would turn as fast as the tractor...
  16. Engage a PTO on Zetor 6211

Wow, amazing, I have posted the thread above your post and pretty much asking the same question on a 5211. We purchased the manual and find it to be difficult to understand with terrible pictures that are refered to, but can't see.
  17. 5211-purchased with land-Any Help in understanding this tractor

Thanks for the info Cook. I just started a new thread about the PTO and Hydralic system and hope to see if I can get some direction on that. Yes to your questions if we can work on this. We are talented in automotive as we ran roundy round racing for 5 years and could change an engine in 30...
  18. 5211- Standard operating postions of levers for shredding-Newbie

From my last thread, we are closing on this property on Friday and will take possision of the 5211. We've started the tractor and have it running, actually runs great. Our problem comes when we try to understand the setup of the PTO and hydralic system. We have purchased the operating manual and...
  19. 5211-purchased with land-Any Help in understanding this tractor

Wow Renz, is that question for me?. I couldn't answer that one right now as I don't know the condition of the oil pump. I figure an oil pump to be a VERY critical part and would like to know if this is a weak leak in this tractor and needs to be monitored. On the other front, purchasing land in...
  20. 5211-purchased with land-Any Help in understanding this tractor

Well, thanks for the information, this switch may be after market, so will have to trace it out, see where it goes. Just for chuckles, what does an after market front end loader cost?. Can this tractor really handle a loader?. It's not an overly big tractor.
