Thank you very much, didn't know if the spring had to be released before the cushion would slide. Must be a very tight fit. Bottom appears to come forward but can't tell which way the back moves, down one would think.

Took a closer look at the new cushions last nite and they have 4 mushroom shaped protrusions on the back sides which appear to fit in keyhole shaped slots on the seat frame. "But" there also is a spring type latch which I suppose locks the cushion in place and I see no way to release it on the...

Hope you have better luck with yours than we have had with the 6340 in the mentioned post. Tried 1st gear up to 4th, slack in the chain and all. Dug some nice holes with all 4 tires, stretched a fine ole clevis all out of shape and shook the holy heck out of a huge elm but the clutch still not...

After thinkin' on this last nite I have another question, or maybe two. What gear would you suggest and why would the clutch freeze in the first place? I know heat plus condensation = rust but have never had a tractor do this before and have let some sit for a "long " time.
