Sorry it's a 8011. But I think I've solved the problem. I removed the bit of the shaft (21 splines) that goes into the thingy just beside the compressor outtake. When I did I seems that it was "hotwired" to run on 1000 rpm's with a 6 splines shaft. I now runs fine and it seems like it's 540 rpm...

When I turn, specially left turn, and the PTO (540rpm) is on there's a loud knocking noice. I sounds like I comes from the gearbox but that doen't make sence to me. When I drive straight ahead the noice goes away. Does anyone know what this is?

I don't use it of course when driving but I don't "turn it off"...
In my instruction manual i says that one should raise the arms max and than close the hydraulic valve and "turn off" the hydraulic pump when traveling with heavy equipment. I don't get it? how do I turn off the hydraulic pump?

When I drive far and "fast" with my 5718 -73 the left side of the rear axel becomes hot and smoke come up from the vent on the left side of the seat. If I go slow all is OK. (The breaks are fine) Any tips before I tear into my beloved Zetor?
I can order the main cylinders and they are about 40 Euros each. I thought I would be "cheap" and just replase the seals but I guess it's best to replace the cylinders. Thanks for your reply.

Ok thanks, that's what I thought. I did that yersterday and there was nothing there!!. What's the symtoms of not having a termostat? My problem is that the engine does not get hotter that 40-45 C in vinter time. Should I put in a termostatmembrane and that will do it?
