On 7245 do you have to stop and clutch before putting into 4wd or would it do damage to put it in without stopping as it seems to go into 4wd easier if you dont stop
Similarly do you have to stop and clutch before taking out of 4wd?
any advice welcome

It is O.K. to engage the 4wd on the go, but NOT when the rear wheels are spinning. Just take your foot off the accelerator pedal when you engage it on the go.
