Diesel seems to be leaking into the oil of our zetor 5211. We suspect the injection pump seal. Can anyone tell us how to take the pump off and whether it has a master spline so that it can't be put back in the wrong position after changing the seal? Grateful for any help

Change the lift pump this will cure your diesel leak into the engine oil

Thanks Alan, that seems to make sense and will be easier. We'll check that first and let you know. regards Bob

A quick temporary fix is to take the lift pump off and reverse the piston. this puts the part that is not so worn in the cylinder.
