So is it correct that the 5211 does not have live hydraulics?? Even my grey market 1970 something L1500 has live hydraulics..

live hydraulics ?
if you pull the PTO clutch the hydraulics stop. To get hydraulics without PTO you change the small lever on the left to a different setting.

Thanks-I still have a lot to learn about this rig.What about the D,M, P lever-I cannot get it to budge-it is on "P" and will not move.

this lever can be released with WD-40 and slight tapping. But you dont need it anytime soon, its draft control for ploughing, it acts on toplink pressure. Dangerous when attaching implements as it can suddenly start lifting when you push the toplink in.

Thanks-had sprayed it down with WD-40 day or so ago but have not tapped on it..Will try this when weather lets me-Thanks again.

Got the draft /position control lever broken aloose at least partially-it is still really stiff but more WD and working it should do the trick. Thanks
