the steering on my 6045 is heavy, i checked the relief valve on the pump, previous owner had cranked it up to well over 1200psi
with some washers(indicating that there is a problem somewhere else), i'm told it should be 650psi and have set it up to that, the steering still feels heavy. is there anything else i should look into??
ps thanks ixer and dave re 6045 hydraulics, it was a faulty QR coupling, I forgot my password so had to join up again

Hi Mike,
I can't find the figures for a 6045 but the steering pressure on a 6245 is 115 bar.(1690 psi) Looks like you need more pressure not less. Does it steer easier one way than the other ? If so it could be adjustment. Try pumping the tyres up a bit. Jack the front up and check your swivel bearings on the hubs.

Good luck

Mike
